Sophie Linford

This shoot was taken of Viking re-enactors showing their preparation, their battling and even their families dressing up to watch and support their husbands and fathers. I love the costumes worn by everyone because it really makes it feel like you've gone back in time to witness what it was like in that time period. They also had live drummers to play while they fought which really added to the tension and suspension of the fight. I enjoyed capturing their movements as they battled, as well as shooting images with their helmets off so we are able to see their emotions shown on their faces.
